"Primrose Brook Sub-Watershed Environmental Assessment"
Princeton Hydro, LLC conducted a Sub-Watershed Environmental Assessment of Primrose Brook. The assessment was conducted from late January through early March of 2004. The goal of the Primrose Brook Sub-Watershed Environmental Assessment was to identify and catalog all impacted areas within the Primrose Brook stream corridor and to identify and recommend Best Management Practices (BMPs) that will maintain or improve the water quality and the physical condition of the stream. A secondary, ancillary goal is to reduce pollutant loading of the Great Swamp, the receiving water of the Primrose Brook. Specifically, the identification, assessment, and selection of BMPs are intended to mitigate the negative effects of nonpoint sources (NPS) of pollution on Primrose Brook. Strategies for BMP implementation were suggested for individual areas of concern and on a watershed-wide basis. |

"Detention Basin Retrofit And Stormwater Outfall Inventory"
This pdf file is 2.8 MB. It contains information about detention basins and stormwater outfalls in the Great Swamp watershed. It contains maps, GIS locations, and field sketches to indicate retrofit possibilities. Each Township Administrator will have both a hard copy and a CD ROM with the same information, so if you do not have fast download capabilities, it may be quicker to go to Town Hall. The information is fairly complete for some towns, and fairly incomplete for others. This type of information will be required for all municipalities by the new Phase II and NJDEP stormwater regulations. |
